As Manager of Dixon Historic Center for the past 20 years, Mr. Jones has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Dixon Historic Center is a museum housed in President Ronald Reagan's boyhood South Central School which is located in his hometown of Dixon, Illinois. The center is proudly affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution and the Library of Congress. As a historic research and learning center, the museum has a wide variety of displays including many involving Ronald Reagan as well as the Civil War.
William is responsible for managing all major aspects of the museum as well as overseeing the daily operations. He possesses exceptional expertise in history and an excellent knowledge of the local area. In the time away from his busy schedule, Mr. Jones greatly enjoys photography, hiking and biking.
