Rita Teresa DiCello Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

Rita Teresa DiCello joins leading professionals as a fine art appraiser of Gray's Auctioneers LLC

    KIRTLAND, OH, June 10, 2010 /Museums PR News/ -- Rita Teresa DiCello, Fine Art appraiser for Gray's Auctioneers LLC and Art Historian for Art Diagnostics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in appraising Italian Renaissance and Baroque art.

With one year as a fine art appraiser for Gray's Auctioneers LLC and five years as an art historian for Art Diagnostics, Rita Teresa DiCello is responsible for determining the value of artwork, mentioning the age of canvas, determining the attributes of genuine pieces, and conducting research through catalog comparisons and facial features. She became involved in her profession after being inspired by Michelangelo's Pieta, and she attributes her success to her passion for her profession.

Ms. DiCello received her Master's Degree in Italian Renaissance and Baroque Art from Kent State University in 2005. In addition to her formal education, she is a certified fine art appraiser and a certified art historian. She is the Secretary of her local chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, a certified art historian of the Association of Art Historians, London, and a member of the College Art Association and the Association for Research into Crimes against Art.
