Chosen for its urban and historic appeal, Frary Gallery opened its doors on September 18, 2009 in the former Ace Theater building at 1419 A 5th Street, in the heart of the Rosemary District.
SARASOTA, FL, June 23, 2010 /Museums PR News/ -- Chosen for its urban and historic appeal, Frary Gallery opened its doors on September 18, 2009 in the former Ace Theater building at 1419 A 5th Street, in the heart of the Rosemary District. With a focus on local emerging contemporary artists, the gallery affords local artists opportunities not readily available in today's art world.
Over the past several months, Frary Gallery has also placed an emphasis upon integrating the gallery into the community by hosting a variety of social events to bring creative and business people together.
Owner/artist Lori Frary has the philosophy of sharing the importance of using art and artists as a catalyst to draw the community together and to strengthen the image of Sarasota as an arts community to the rest of the world.
Frary uses the gallery for a variety of events and encourages others to do the same. The relaxed atmosphere creates an environment that is stimulating while allowing guests to mingle and socialize with old and new acquaintances.
Hours of Operation (Summer)
Tuesday - Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday - 12 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday - 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
