The Princeton Club of So. California (PCSC)will hold a private viewing of the Gustav Klimt paintings at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)* and talk featuring E. Randol Schoenberg (Princeton '88), the attorney who single handedly battled for their recovery from the Austrian government.

/Museums PR News/ - LOS ANGELES, CA, May 06, 2006 - E. Randol Schoenberg traces his six-year quest to recover the Nazi-looted Klimt paintings for Bloch-Bauer heir and Cheviot Hills resident, Maria Altman. He shares the "back story" about taking this historic and monumental case against the Austrian government through the U.S. Supreme Court and to victory at arbitration in Austria. The grandson of two world-famous Viennese composers (Arnold Schoenberg and Eric Zeisl) and Austrian Jewish exiles from Nazism, the case had deep emotional and personal meaning for Randol as his family had close personal ties with the Altman family in Vienna Afterwards, Randol will also provide a tour of the Gustav Klimt Paintings. In recognition of his work and achievements, Randol has recently been honored by the Beverly Hills Bar Association with the Outstanding Attorney for Justice Award.
