Oaxaca de Juarez, Francisco Toledo and the Manual Alvarez Bravo Center of Photography, receive Christopher Flach's new production of "romantica," a collection of historic ballads and love songs, sung by don Fidencio and don Alexandro.

    /Museums PR News/ - SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 08, 2006 - While attending the Mary Ellen Mark photographic workshop in Oaxaca de Juarez, Christopher heard don Fidencio and don Alexando playing outside the Center for the Arts. With the assistance of Jaun Pedro Moreno and Renato Chevas Perez, Christopher interviewed and recorded their music, producing "romantica," a collection of historic ballads and love songs, sung by don Fidencio and don Alexandro.

Christopher's Photography work can be seen at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) Art Auction 2006 on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. As one of the Museum's major fund-raising events. This year's auction will feature two of Christopher's photographs. The live auction will also include some thirty works by such important artists as Ansel Adams, Diane Arbus, Chuck Close, Robert Rauschenberg, and Gerhard Richter. Proceeds from SFMOMA's Art Auction 2006 will benefit the Museum's world-class collection and educational programs.
